MPRDS is a grass-root Non Government Organization founded in 1994 by some socially dedicated persons led by Mr. Balaram Bar of South 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal. Limited social and economic development in Mallbpur and surrounding area, which is situated at the border of Sunderban, prompted those young social workers to start this organization to address unmet needs and rights in the communities.
